After reaching Humbug’s Gulch and accepting that they need the Pioneers’ help, Morgan (Lennie James) and the others find a different way forward in the season 5 finale, “End of the Line”....

Fear the Walking Dead producer Andrew Chambliss says that season 4 is accessible for viewers checking out the show for the first time. Set two years after the events of the season 3 finale, “Sleigh Ride”, season 4 of Fear the Walking Dead gets a bit of a reset plot-wise, leaping forward and bringing in some serious talent to play a slew of new major characters. The new season also marks the first crossover event of the series, as the time-jump allows longtime Walking Dead regular Lennie James to appear as Morgan Jones....

I can’t claim any credit for coming up with the idea for this feature request – it just seemed such a no-brainer to me that I’m endorsing John Gruber’s suggestion. Puzzle Of A Downfall Child is a haunting, experimental psychodrama from the 1970s. Faye Dunaway’s big break came with 1967’s Bonnie And Clyde, co-starring Warren Beatty. The movie followed the real-life story of the doomed bank robbers, but while it’s rightly regarded as a classic, it was controversial upon release for its graphic bloodshed. Bonnie And Clyde and Sam Peckinpah’s The Wild Bunch both became infamous for their taboo-breaking depictions of violence, which somewhat overshadowed the quality of both during their original release....

Following Apple employees’ meeting with the FDA to discuss “mobile medical applications” earlier this year, AppleToolbox has published a response from the FDA to a Freedom of Information Act Request asking for more information about what was discussed. A response to the request took three months to complete, and arrived just after Apple introduced its new HealthKit platform and Health app for iOS 8 last week. While much the FDA’s answer sounds like Apple was discussing HealthKit, the response also gives some interesting clues that Apple is working on health products that go beyond the sensors currently in the iPhone and iPad:...

AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead has found itself the target of a lawsuit regarding its season 2 story arc. The network and their apocalyptic franchise are no strangers to lawsuits, with original The Walking Dead developer and former showrunner, Frank Darabont, filing and pursuing a $280 million profit participation action over the last five years. Though the flagship show has recently seen a rapid decline in the ratings, with the companion series never quite achieving the same lofty heights, there is no denying that the franchise remains a juggernaut, especially as far as AMC are concerned, recently renewing the zombie drama for season 9....

Apple is about to hold its next “Far out” special event tomorrow, and the company is expected to introduce a variety of new products. Among them, there’s the entire iPhone 14 lineup, which is supposed to have four different models: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max. When it comes to the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max, they’ll share the same screen size, but that’s about it....

The Wizarding World expands yet again with the casting of Callum Turner. As much as I think the Apple Music user interface is still a total jumbled mess, I do think there are also a few features that Apple should add as it simultaneously cleans up what’s already there. A big one for me is the potential for private, collaborative playlists and streaming radio stations. What Apple Music currently has, as far as users sharing music goes, is the ability to share a playlist, station, album or song from within the app via email, third-party apps or copying the link to share elsewhere....

Filmmaker Josh Trank says he would “gladly” donate to a GoFundMe campaign to erase his infamous Fantastic Four movie reboot from existence - if such a campaign were possible, of course. Fantastic Four was the source of constant rumors about behind-the-scenes problems throughout the entirety of its production, with Trank being at the center of many of the issues that were said to plague the film. The rumors included conflicts on the set between Trank and Miles Teller and Trank’s supposed behavior costing him the director’s chair of the Star Wars anthology film about Boba Fett....

With one iOS device update out of the way for 2012, Apple is working on updates to the iPhone and iPod touch. While these updates are expected, we’ve learned some details about this new iPhone and iPod touch. First, the new iPhone. Much like they did last year, Apple has internally seeded a prototype next-generation iPhone with the iPhone 4 design. The actual next-generation iPhone is specifically said to not include the iPhone 4/4S design, but Apple is testing these new devices in older casings to throw off leaks....

Analysis of more than 115M Internet speed tests reveals that Irvine, California, has the best broadband in the country, with an average download speed of 124Mbps and an upload speed of 52Mbps … Unsurprisingly, that was on Google Fiber, as were most of the top 10 cities, shown below. Worst was Buffalo, New York, where Spectrum offered 65Mbps downloads and 17Mbps uploads. Speed test company Ookla said that it calculated the rankings by using a weighted average of upload and download speeds....

When it comes to being one of the best reenactments of a bad drug trip and adaptations around, few come close to the heights that Terry Gilliam’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas achieved. Though a box office failure, Raoul Duke (Johnny Depp) and his attorney Dr. Gonzo’s (Benicio del Toro) savage odyssey to Las Vegas was vindicated by time and became a certified cult classic. But as faithful as Gilliam’s movie is, there were some things that were lost in the novel’s translation to celluloid....

The latest episode of Fear the Walking Dead finally introduced the show’s second crossover character from The Walking Dead, Dwight (Austin Amelio). Amelio exited The Walking Dead after the season 8 finale and the conclusion of the war with Negan. Dwight was exiled by Daryl over his past crimes, even though he helped Alexandria and the other communities defeat Negan and the Saviors. So after leaving Alexandria, Dwight set out to reunite with his wife, who disappeared after escaping Negan’s grasp....

The survivors of the zombie apocalypse were present and accounted for at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, as AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead shared a brand new trailer for the second half of season 5. The Walking Dead spinoff has undergone plenty of changes since it first premiered back in 2015. Most of those changes have had to do with the show’s original cast, which has almost completely been replaced by, a mix of newcomers and transplants from the original series, like Lennie James’s Morgan and most recently, Austin Amelio’s Dwight, who joined the show in season 5....
