After a new trailer hinted at the imminent arrival of the Fantastic Four in the MCU, fans have been pretty stoked about what could unfold. It’s probably safe to assume that the new movie will steer clear of previous FF movie efforts. It may also be a good bet that the movie will draw on some of the classic comic book storylines from Marvel Comics’ first superhero team. Fans might expect the movie to cover the origin of the team, but thanks to sixty years of comic book history, there are a couple of different versions out there....

watchOS 4.1 brought iCloud Music Library and Apple Music streaming to Apple Watch, but the redesigned Music app on watchOS 4 killed a feature that it offered since launch. watchOS removed the ability to remotely control music playing on your iPhone from your Apple Watch in favor of focusing solely on music playable from the watch. While this change makes the Music app much easier to use and understand for most users, removing a useful function from the Apple Watch isn’t progress for everyone....

Far Cry 5 is the best game in the series and easily one of the most impressive open-world shooters on the market, even though it’s a very familiar experience. This is coming from someone who wasn’t too impressed with Far Cry 4 after the success and reinvention of the series with Far Cry 3. We won’t even get into Far Cry Primal which I found boring and unworthy of the brand name....

Often one of the best things about a new version of macOS is the new wallpaper options. Over the years though, some of the most iconic wallpapers have gradually disappeared from the operating system as screen resolution has improved. The book, entitled Build: An Unorthodox Guide to Making Things Worth Making, could provide some interesting insight into the creation of the iPod and more. Newt Scamander’s Patronus animal is a bigger spoiler for the future Fantastic Beasts films than some fans might think, which means that Eddie Redmayne’s quirky magizoologist may have even more secrets and layers than were revealed in the first film. That’s saying something too, since when Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was released late last year, the best thing that the film did was introduce Harry Potter fans to a new group of characters that they could love and be willing to follow along with again in next year’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2, and then three more subsequent films after that....

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them sets the franchise up for a five film arc that will seemingly tell the story of the dark wizard Grindelwald (Johnny Depp) and his rise to power across Europe. However, despite the focus of Fantastic Beasts 2 and subsequent movies shifting to Grindelwald and Dumbledore (still to be cast), Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) will still play an important role in the story going forward, and audiences will get to learn more of his backstory; including (hopefully) why he was expelled from Hogwarts, and why Dumbledore fought to keep him at the school....

2017 has already had its fair share of major releases and tentpole films hitting the big screen, despite the fact that we aren’t even four full months into the year. With titles like Logan, John Wick: Chapter 2, The LEGO Batman Movie, Beauty and the Beast, and more, 2017 got off to a big start from the very beginning and hasn’t slowed down yet. But even with Beauty and the Beast crossing $1 billion at the box office this week, 2017 is about to kick it into high gear (pun intended) with The Fate of the Furious, the eighth installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, which just a few years ago no one expected to last this long....

While the anticipation surrounding 20th Century Fox’s Logan has reached palpably high levels, there’s also an air of sadness surrounding that excitement for the film. The reason being is that it marks the last time fans will ever get to see Hugh Jackman play Wolverine in a film, ending his 17-year long on-screen journey as the character, which began in 2000’s X-Men. Aside from just the beloved nature of his performance, fans have been quick to lament all the opportunities Jackman’s Wolverine will miss by him saying goodbye now....

Universal revealed new footage from Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. The idea for the spinoff was inspired by Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham’s scenes together in 2017’s The Fate of the Furious. While a post-credits stinger that set up the spinoff was scrapped, the project was officially announced shortly after the eighth Fast & Furious movie hit theaters. Atomic Blonde and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch later boarded the film, and it’s been smooth sailing for Hobbs & Shaw ever since....

Sherry (Christine Evangelista), Dwight’s wife, may be the one character who can save Morgan (Lennie James) on Fear the Walking Dead. It looks like Morgan, a character who has managed to greatly outlive his comic counterpart, is about to meet a grisly end. But despite the dire circumstances facing the character, Morgan may still have a way out. In the Fear the Walking Dead season 5 finale, Morgan’s group prepares to make a last stand against Virginia (Colby Minifie) and the Pioneers, but it’s eventually decided that a fight won’t end well for either side....

Potterheads are still hungry for more magic in the Wizarding World, even if Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald disappointed fans and audiences. So far, for the third Fantastic Beasts, Steve Kloves was confirmed to be returning to the writing team with J. K. Rowling, David Yates will return in the director’s chair, and the film will be set in Berlin and Rio de Janeiro. Even if the third movie might continue its globe-hopping, it would be fun to take advantage and expand the American Wizarding World that kicked off in the first Fantastic Beasts....

With Marvel regaining the rights to the Fantastic Four characters in the Disney/Fox merger, we should be seeing a more comics-accurate and overall satisfying big-screen incarnation of Marvel’s first family than we’ve seen previously. The Fox movies didn’t just fail the Fantastic Four – they failed their iconic rogues’ gallery, too. Galactus was reduced to an uninteresting cosmic cloud, the Silver Surfer was reduced to dull CGI, and we were subjected to not one, but two bitterly disappointing takes on the team’s greatest foe: Doctor Doom....

Federal Communications Commission chairman Ajit Pai will not make a trip to CES 2019 next week in Las Vegas, nor will FCC commissioner Brendan Carr. The two were reportedly forced to bail on their previously scheduled trips due to the ongoing government shutdown. Politico Pro reports (via The Verge) that Pai was slated to hold a session moderated by Gary Shapiro of the Consumer Technology Association.
