The Fear the Walking Dead season 5 finale ended in what may have been the show’s biggest cliffhanger yet: Morgan (Lennie James) is in dire straits, and the rest of the group is scattered. As of now, it would seem that Virginia (Colbie Minifie) has won. In last week’s episode, Morgan’s group headed to another Humbug’s Gulch location, believing that they could use it as their new base. Unfortunately, the area was flooded with zombies, and due to low supplies, they had to contact Virginia for help....

Sony is reportedly eying Tiffany Haddish to star in their female-led reboot of the Jump Street movie series. The studio is also on the lookout for Haddish’s costar in the film and (apparently) hopes to land rapper-turned actor Awkwafina for the role. The dramatic 1980s TV series 21 Jump Street got a comedic makeover in 2012 with the movie of the same name. Starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as two buddy cops who go undercover as high schoolers, the 21 Jump Street movie was a critical and commercial success that went on to earn a sequel (cheekily titled 22 Jump Street), two years later....

Fandango, the movie ticket service that is currently integrated into Siri, today announced an update to its iOS app for iPhone and iPad. On top of enhancements that lets iPad users scroll through photos & videos and view in full screen mode, the app also now features the ability for Visa Signature account holders to purchase tickets faster and receive special offers by saving their card. The feature is only available on the iPhone initially and comes alongside better Facebook sharing options by creating and signing into a Fandango account....

Fanhouse is a platform for creators that competes with OnlyFans as it lets users post photos and videos (SFW only) that can only be viewed by those who pay a monthly subscription. After criticizing App Store fees last year, Fanhouse is now raising subscription prices by 50% for iOS users as a way to cover Apple’s commission. As reported by The Verge, the app’s cofounder Rosie Nguyen complained that Apple would ban the Fanhouse app from the App Store unless they adopted the company’s in-app purchases system, which gives Apple a 30% commission on all transactions...

Fans were so wowed by the first film in the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them series that they pretty much expected the second film to fail to live up to the first. It’s difficult for sequels to measure up, and while The Crimes of Grindelwald definitely had its magical moments (and some of the movie provided us with the answers we so desperately sought), it still lacked in other areas....

The latest Fast & Furious 9 set video reveals the return of Brian O’Conner’s (Paul Walker) son. The ninth instalment (as implied by the title) from the primary saga of the car-centric franchise is officially in production. And because of this, few clips have emerged giving fans a look at the cast back reprising their respective roles. The most recent of which features Brian and Mia’s (Jordana Brewster) son. It was Nathalie Emmanuel (hacktivist Ramsey introduced in Furious 7), who was the first person from the cast to reveal that shooting has begun for the Justin Lin-directed project....

Upcoming Fast & Furious spinoff Hobbs & Shaw is seeking a new actress to play Hobbs’ young daughter. It’s hard to think of the franchise without him now, yet Dwayne Johnson’s Hobbs only joined the series with Fast 5. The Fast and the Furious and xXx director Rob Cohen is facing a fresh allegation of sexual assault, following claims earlier this year that he molested his own daughter when she was a child. The new accusation is from a woman who says that she was raped by Cohen four years ago, with contemporary records confirming that she sought treatment for sexual assault at the time. This is the latest in a long list of stories about high-profile Hollywood actors, directors, and producers who have been accused of sexual misconduct and assault....

A fan-made alternate ending to 10 Cloverfield Lane gives fans the ending they deserved by removing the alien spaceship and adding in the original monster in its place. After years of waiting, J.J. Abrams and Bad Robot Productions finally delivered a Cloverfield sequel in the form of Dan Trachtenberg’s 10 Cloverfield Lane. Sure, it wasn’t a direct sequel to the original 2008 film, but the 2016 spiritual sequel did expand the franchise enough to set up future anthology installments down the line....

Fantasian is an RPG set against a backdrop made from over 150 handmade dioramas that blend physical environments and 3D characters. To tell this epic story, the developer Mistwalker approached a novel in the form of a “memory” system where players encounter and collect various memories, journal entries, and notes presented as miniature in-game novels to flesh out the story, realms, and characters of Fantasian....

A LEGO set may have just revealed an important battle in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, including how the Dark Wizard escapes MACUSA. The first trailer for the upcoming sequel to Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them was released earlier this week, and gave fans a good look at Jude Law as the young Professor Dumbledore, as well as a lot of footage of Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) back in action as he travels to Paris and meets up with Dumbledore....

CarPlay isn’t expected to gain any major features this year according to recent reporting, but that doesn’t mean we can’t dream. One simple change I would love to see in some future update is support for HomeKit alerts through CarPlay. Going a step further, a dedicated Home app for CarPlay with a few key features could be very beneficial. CarPlay prevents most alerts from reaching your car so you don’t get distracted by a new email or tweet while driving, but that filter can sometimes catch useful alerts too....

As far as horror concepts go, the upcoming Fantasy Island film is unique. Because essentially, it’s a reboot of a nostalgic TV show from the 70s. Featuring multiple guest stars per episode, the show was about an island where anyone’s fantasies became reality. However, these fantasies often had an unexpected negative twist to them which gave Fantasy Island a subtly dark tone. So turning this concept into a straightforward horror movie seems like the next logical step....

It’s always the case when the latest installment of the MCU comes out that it gets the comparison treatment of whatever came before. Spider-Man: Homecoming was an excellent introduction of Spider-Man into the MCU and it helped establish this version of the character - as is usually the way - as a fan favorite. From the indication of Spider-Man: Far From Home, it’s clear that he’s not going to be a key part of the MCU going forward....

The sudden and tragic death of actor Paul Walker in 2013 not only had long lasting effects on his family, it also threw the production of Furious 7 into turmoil, creating doubts as to whether the film, or even the franchise, could be completed without him. After an understandable delay, the cast and crew decided to press forward, bringing in Walker’s brothers, Caleb and Cody, as stand-ins and rewriting the script to give Paul a respectful, heartfelt, tearful, emotional goodbye scene....

The FBI has released a press statement explaining its motivation for resetting the iCloud password in the San Bernardino iPhone backdoor/unlock case. It seems like a screw-up, which prevented Apple from extracting data from the phone via iCloud. However, the FBI says that the county did it, in collaboration with FBI, in order to gain access to the suspect’s iCloud account. It says it was able to successfully retrieve iCloud backups up to October 19th....
